Read one more reason we must stop the West Waukesha Bypass below!
Please write your letters now! Let the West Waukesha Bypass Planners know that enough is enough! More and more research is showing the effect that huge highways like the West Waukesha Bypass have on our health. In addition, we can't afford to build new highways when there's no money to maintain what we have! Politicians and the DOT will be asking for more of your hard earned money soon. Are you willing to pay more taxes to expand highways! Lets just maintain the roads we have and keep them safe! Also, by defeating this ill conceived Bypass we will be saving the Pebble Creek Environmental Corridor! What will be more important to our children and their children? More unnecessary highway lanes or valuable natural open space! Remember, Hwy 83 just 5 miles west, is being expanded to a 4 lane bypass right now!
See below for details on where to send your comments. Your comments can be one sentence or much longer if you'd like. Either way, make your opinion count! Every comment will help defeat the West Waukesha Bypass! Please note that the deadline for comments is October 20th.

The Coalition Opposed to the West Waukesha Bypass will be planning next steps, up to and including possible legal action, at a meeting next week.
